The Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative is proud to present the 27 quilts for the July online auction.
The online auction of Priority: Alzheimer’s Quilts runs from July 1 to July 10 and represents a significant portion of the AAQI’s income. All profits from the AAQI is used to fund research, and that’s why we’re in business. Thanks to your efforts we have raised more than $730,000 for research, one quilt at a time. Let’s see how much we can raise in the July auction. (Hint: share this with a friend.)
Please bid generously. Buying art to support a worthy cause is a good thing, right? (Martha Stewart, are you listening? More importantly, are you bidding?!)
Quiz Time: Why does the AAQI always offer 27 quilts every month?
a. It’s Ami’s favorite number
b. That’s the number of quilts that fit on ONE auction page
c. Any more and bids might go down
d. It doesn’t; in November 2012 there will be fewer than 27 quilts.
e. All of the above, except for the favorite number part.
In other news: Woman’s Day magazine will feature an article about the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative and Ami Simms, possibly in the October issue! Stay tuned.
Thank you for reading this blog!

Answer to quiz: e

What happened to the section with the individual quilts by the quilter and her/his description of the quilt? I could not seem to find them on these quilts.
